Service Description

Facial and cosmetic acupuncture, also known as aesthetic acupuncture, incorporates acupuncture and other modalities to benefit the skin and superficial muscles of the face. Sterile and very fine needles are inserted through the skin of the face and neck, along with some body points, in specific points to improve circulation of Qi or the energetic life force and blood in specific areas. In addition to helping to alleviate some fine lines, scarring, and sagging on the face, facial acupuncture, along with scalp acupuncture, can help with neuromuscular facial conditions such as Bell's Palsy and stroke.
